Conspiracy thriller Prime Target comes to Apple TV+ in January, here's what to know!

Apple TV+ has an exciting new conspiracy thriller coming and we now have a date! The new series, Prime Target, stars Leo Woodall and is due to be out in 2025.

Well, if you enjoy a good conspiracy and also enjoy math, then you might be in for a treat! While there is not a lot of information out yet about the series, what can we expect? Let's dive into what we know so far!

Woodall, who is also known for his role in The White Lotus, is slated to star as Edward Brooks, who is described as being a post-graduate in the field of mathematics. He is in the midst of a breakthrough involving prime number patterns, which would make him the major keyholder of every computer on Earth.

What to know about Apple TV+'s Prime Target

The series synopsis reveals that there is an unknown enemy who is attempting to prevent Edward from finding the pattern in the first place. Help comes from NSA Agent Taylah Sanders, played by Quintessa Swindell.

Her job has her keeping an eye on various mathematicians to report on their behavior as they do their work. In addition, she is also tasked with reporting on their behavior and Brooks is one of them. Together, they begin to figure out that there is a conspiracy that involves Brooks himself.

This series looks like an exciting one not only for math enthusiasts but for those who may enjoy thrillers that involve a good old conspiracy.

Release date for the new series

In total, there will be eight episodes of Prime Target. However, they won’t all drop at once like most streaming series do. Instead, the first two episodes of the show are set to premiere on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025. Following this schedule, each episode will be released weekly on Wednesdays until the March 5, 2025 finale. So make sure to save those dates so you can enjoy every episode!

Cast

In addition to the two main actors, there are plenty of familiar names who are also attached to the project. These include Stephen Rea, Martha Plimpton, Harry Lloyd, David Morrissey, Jason Flemyng, and Ali Suliman.

The show was created by Steve Thompson, who was a writer for Sherlock. He is also credited as being an executive producer alongside director Brady Hood. There is no trailer yet for the series, but we will continue to keep you updated as we learn more information about Prime Target.
