Are you in the mood to binge-watch Christmas episodes of your favorite shows? Is there one classic episode you want to see but can’t choose? Well, in that case, we have a treat for you, especially if you are a Bones fan. We have the perfect Bones Christmas episode to watch this holiday season.

For 12 years, fans of David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel got to watch the two stars encompass a true will they/won’t they relationship all while solving crimes. Airing on FOX from 2005-2017, Bones followed FBI agent Seeley Booth, who worked with the team at the Jeffersonian Institution to solve crimes.

The agency would turn to forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan when they often needed help figuring out the identities of victims whose remains could not easily be verified. There are so many amazing episodes of the show we love to watch, especially when it comes to Christmas episodes.

Which Bones Christmas episode is a must watch this year?

One of the best Christmas episodes of Bones to watch this year actually comes from season 1, which is titled “The Man in the Fallout Shelter.” Not only does this episode focus on the team at Christmas time, but it also allows the audience and characters to get to know each other. At one point, many of the family members of the core cast come to visit them for the holidays since they cannot leave work.

In the episode, Booth has Brennan look into the identity of remains found in a fallout shelter. But when a poisonous fungus is released into the air once the bones are sawed open for analysis, the team must quarantine until they are determined safe from any life-threatening diseases.

This episode gave the team the chance to learn about one another, such as Booth having a son, Parker. Plus, some of the employees at the Jeffersonian get to see their families when they visit, even though they need to be safe while doing so.

Bones is available for streaming on Peacock, Hulu, and Disney+ so you can have an entire marathon on Christmas day if you would like to view more than just the Christmas episode we highlighted here. Other top contenders to watch this Christmas include “The Santa in the Slush” and “The Girl in the Goop.”
